First Cabin Capsule Hotel

First Cabin International Hawaii brought Hawaii’s first capsule-style hotel experience to Oahu, introducing a Japan-based concept in the heart of Waikīkī. Located on the 14th floor of the Waikiki Business Plaza, the 9,300 SF interior build-out was planned to deliver a streamlined arrival-to-rest experience within a compact footprint.

The scope includes a welcoming lobby and guest lounge, restrooms and shower facilities, lockers and luggage storage, and on-site laundry to support high turnover and day-to-night use. The hotel features 103 custom capsules shipped directly from Japan, designed for privacy, comfort, and efficient use of space—creating a clean, secure, and modern stay option steps from Waikīkī’s shopping, dining, and beach.
