Project Description
Allied Builders System transformed a 6-story office/retail building in the heart of downtown Honolulu into the AC Hotel Honolulu, featuring 112 guestrooms and multiple amenities. The project involved intensive preconstruction planning, value engineering, and collaborative design efforts with the owner to stay within budget constraints while meeting Marriott's stringent brand requirements. Despite logistical challenges in a busy downtown area, the team prioritized safety and minimized disruption. The project navigated infrastructure adjustments within the existing space through precise coordination and use of 3D scanning and BIM modeling. Our team helped to navigate the complexities of this project by achieving a balance between quality, cost, and timeline.
