Hata ChefZoneThe interior of this 45,600 square-foot warehouse was completely transformed to create this one-stop resource for local restaurants and the food industry community which features more than 6,000 food products and restaurant supplies and over 35,000 special order items. Food demonstrations and other valuable restaurant business services like their “Entrée-preneur Center” are also provided at this unique facility.
This project included comprehensive interior improvements and new air-conditioning, fire-sprinkler, and electrical infrastructure. The project work scope included a new 4,600 sf freezer, 8,000 sf refrigerator, a demonstration kitchen, work centers and offices, restrooms, and other back of house facilities.
With careful planning and management, the ABS team successfully overcame the challenges of an exceptionally aggressive schedule. The age of the structure required a historic preservation review and our team worked closely with the State Historic Preservation Division to expedite review and continue progress.
